The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, May 19, 1891


Lucinda, wife of Elias Reusch, died at 3:30 this morning.  She has been a 
grievous sufferer for a long time, and death came as a relief at last.  She 
had lived 27 of the 59 years of her life in Ionia and was highly esteemed by 
many friends.  She leaves five children, the eldest James Straub, being a son 
by her first husband; the others are Rosa, Frederick, Moses, and Lillian, all 
being residents of Ionia.  The funeral will be held on Thursday.
