ALICE M. REYNOLDS DEAD Remains of Pioneer Resident Brought Back to Ionia for Interment Mrs. Alice M. Reynolds, more than 50 years a Michigan resident, and during most of that time living in Ionia, died Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mable Thomason, at Grand Rapids. She had been a sufferer many years from internal complications which were not successfully diagnosed until it was too late to give relief. She was of a courageous spirit and loving disposition, and was well known and highly esteemed by many local friends and relatives who will be grieved at her sudden though merciful departure. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Maysville, Ky., May 27, 1850. She is survived by three children – Mrs. Thomason of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Florence M. McConnell of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Delos N. Reynolds of Three Forks, Mont. There are also two sisters, - Mrs. Annie Bray of Chicago and Mrs. Maggie Johnson of Homeworth, O. Mrs. Johnson is the only one of the close relatives who is not here at present. The body will be brought here tonight on the 7:04 train and will be taken to the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Kishpaugh, 602 West Main Street. The funeral will be held in the Disciple Church at 10:00 am Thursday, Rev. C. C. Buckner officiating. Burial in Highland Park beside her husband, Anson W. Reynolds, who died in 1895.
