Reynolds, one of the pioneer residents of this city, passed away at his late home, 420 North Jefferson street, at an early hour Sunday morning. Mr. Reynolds was known as one of the Michigan reformatory pioneer guards, having worked at that institution for many years. He resigned his position about two years and a half ago on account of poor health. Mr. Reynolds is well known in Ionia county. Mr. Reynolds has been a lifelong resident of this state. He was at the time of his death 68 years of age, and is survived by his widow and two daughters, Miss Amy Reynolds and Flora Reynolds. He also leaves three brothers, William Reynolds, who lives two miles west of the city; Delos Reynolds of Beulah, and Guy Reynolds, of Glendale, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Millie Conner, of Belding. The funeral will be held from the late family residence Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will take place in the Easton cemetery.
