Lake Odessa Wave-Times February 13, 1920

Carl Rheam was born in Odessa township, Ionia County, Sept 9, 1890. Died 
February 4, 1920, aged 29 years, four months, 26 days.

On June 18 1913, he was married to Wreatha Green of Saranac, Mich. To this union 
two children were born, Loraine, aged two years and Carl Robert, aged four 
months.

Carl was a hard working man, kind to his family and always willing to lend a 
helping hand to those in need. He was loved by all who knew him and will be 
greatly missed in the community.

He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, two children, his father and mother, 
two brothers, for sisters, other relatives and a host of friends.
          O, the words we may speak, O, the help we may give; 
             To the comrades we meet in the way; 
          Let us scatter the sunshine of love and of hope 
             Into some aching heart every day.
                            CARD OF THANKS
We hereby wish to thank our many friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us 
during the sickness and death of our beloved husband and father. We also wish to 
thank the minister for his services and his wife for singing, and those who sent 
the beautiful flowers.
