MARIE B. (BREWER) RHOADES 1932-2016
Marie B. (Brewer) Rhoades, 84 of Saranac, MI passed away Oct. 4, 2016. She was 
born in Star, North Carolina on July 2, 1932 the daughter of Claude and Maddie 
Brewer. Marie married Forrest Rhoades on May 29, 1960.

Marie worked as a bus driver for Ionia Public Schools, In retirement, Marie and 
her husband ran Fishline Charter Boat service from Ludington for over a decade. 
They lived on the Rhoades family farm most of their lives, raising a family and 
farming while working full time.

Marie is survived by her children Shelia (Jeff) Hill of Ohio, Joy (Roger) Vaughn 
of Six Lakes, MI, Matthew (Mary) Rhoades of Illinois, Mark (Toni) Rhoades of 
California, seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by hr husband (Aug. 21, 2016). A memorial service will 
be held a 1-3 PM at the Saranac Legion hall Oct.13,2016. Arrangements made by
