                                WAYNE M. RHOADES

SARANAC - Wayne M.Rhoades, 45, of Saranac, died Suddenly Jan. 17 at his home.

He was born the son of Lawrence and Clara (Graham) Rhoades on Oct.11, 1944 in 
Ionia.

He graduated from Saranac High School  in 1963. He had worked at Wittenbach 
Sales and Services in Lowell as head mechanic.He was a member of the Seventh Day 
Adventist Church in Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Leone; one son, David of Saranac; three daughters, 
Yvonne, Angela and Melissa, all of Saranac; one grandson, Kyle; his father and 
step-mother, Mr. and Mrs.Lawrence Rhoades of Muir; two brothers, Dale of Lake 
Odessa and Phillip of Sebewa; one sister,Beverly Hatfield of Grand Rapids; 
several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara, in 1978 and his daughter, Theresa 
in 1964.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.mFriday at the seventh day Adventist Church 
in Ionia, the Rev.Jerry Mayes officiating.

Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.

Visitation hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Myers 
Memorial Chapel in Ionia.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ameircan Diabetes Association or the 
Michigan Heart Fund.
