Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Aug 2005

Floyd James Rhoades, age 58, of Ionia, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005 in
Grand Rapids.  He was born on August 8, 1947 in Lapanto, Arkansas, the son of
Ernest and Define (Mills) Rhodes.  He married Barbara Jane Wonsey on February
27, 1971.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Rhodes of Ionia; children, Philip
James and Donna Rhodes of Ionia, Jason Floyd and Christine Rhodes of Ionia;
brothers, Buddy and Diana Rhodes of South Branch, Russell and Karen Rhodes of
Gaines; sisters, Genieve Rhodes of Chesaning, Laverne McKay of Chesaning,
Carolyn Deming of Maple Rapids, Martha Schreiner of Harrison; grandchildren,
Michael, Allyssa, Parker, Delanei, Bronson; several brothers-in-law,
sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his
daughter, Rebecca Rhodes, in1978, one sister, Ernestine Rhodes, and one
grandson, Nicholas Rhodes.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. 
Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
