Sentinel-Std. - Monday, June 9, 1986

Simi Valley, Calif. -Sylvan M. Rhoades, 4, of 2166 N. Bellhaven, Simi 
Valley, died Thursday in a Simi Valley hospital.

He was born in the Saranac area and grew up there.

Survivors include his wife, Gerry, one daughter, Kathy of Simi Valley, his 
mother, Betty Curtis of Saranac, three sisters, Marilyn Metternick of Ionia, 
Laura Sible of Lowell and Linda Baie of Grand Rapids, and one brother, 
Vince, of Saranac. 

Funeral services will be today at the Reardon Mortuary in Simi Valley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart, in care of the Lowell 
Moose Lodge No. 809, Post Office Box 66, Lowell, 49331.
