Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Oct 1967

Mrs. Etta Richards, 64, died Saturday morning at her home at 226 Miller.  She 
was born April 20, 1903 in St. Louis, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dukes.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Powell of DeWitt; one son, Richard Welsh 
of Bath; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. 
Ruth Thayer of Ionia; Mrs. Mina Bessette of Lansing, Mrs. Dorothy Butler of 
Mason; three brothers, Frank and Elijah Ward of Ionia and Less Shellenbarger of 
Hagor Shores; five step sisters and brothers.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Myers funeral home.
