Portland Review - March 30, 1987


Marguerite “Maggie” Ribesky, 57, of 2342 Estes, Muskegon, died March 19 at 
Hackley Hospital.

Mrs. Ribesky was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Portland. She had lived in the Muskegon 
area since 1954. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and 
was an avid quilt maker, being a member of the Lumbertown Quilters. On April 
11, 1953, the former Maggie Moran married Robert Ribesy.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; one son, Gregory Ribesky of Muskegon; 
two daughters, Susan Pasikoswki of Grand Rapids and Mary Ribesky of Seattle; 
one granddaughter, Beth Anne Pasikoski; and one brother, Bert Moran of 
Portland. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Moran.

The Concelebrated Mass was held March 23 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church 
with Frs. Wm. Langlois, Larry Hartwig, and Dan DePew as celebrants. Interment 
was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary was recited March 22.

Memorials may be made to the Muskegon County Humane Society.
