Alva Riblet Died Friday.

Alva Riblet, 92 passed away at his home in Orlando, Fla., Friday night.  He was
a business man here for 60 years retiring about 23 years ago when he sold his
business to Ira Tischer.  

Mr. Riblet first owned and operated a bakery and restaurant for about 10 years
before changing over to the pool room and restaurant.  His first wife the former
Jennie Gilliland passed away in 1924 and several years later he married Lola
Hubbard who survives.

The Riblets spent their winters in Florida and summers here after his retirement
until a few years ago when he made his permanent home in Fla.  It has been about
8 years since his last visit here.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery, Rev. A.J. Pitman officiating.
