Ionia Standard, 26 Sep 1913

Mrs. William Rice died at 10 o’clock Friday.  Funeral at the home in Lansing
Monday, 10 a.m.  She leaves a husband but no children.  They moved from Ionia
about a year ago.  She also leaves a mother and one brother, both of Lansing.

Mrs. Cassie Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Will Amphlett, David Stedman, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Rice and children, and M.B. Strong went to Lansing this noon to attend the
funeral of Mrs. Wm. Rice.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt, MI.]
