Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 May 1927

Mrs. Mary E. Rice, 90-year-old pioneer resident of Portland, died yesterday at the
home 
of a niece at Otsego, according to word received here.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried
in 
Portland Cemetery.]
