Mrs. Rice had lived in Lansing for a number of years, where her son William has been connected with the Olds Motor company. William has been living in Minneapolis, where he had had charge of a large Olds service station, but recently again was put on the road by the company, and was at Omaha, Neb., about to leave for Denver when he received word of his mother's sudden death. The funeral services for Mrs. Rice will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. William Amphlette, Amphlette terrace, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Amphlette and Mrs. Rice were cousins. * Saturday, June 7, 1924 Mrs. Belle Rice Buried in Highland Park Friday The funeral services for Mrs. Belle Rice were largely attended from the residence of her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. William Amphlett, Amphlett terrace, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. M. S. Decker, of the Church of Christ, delivered the sermon and music was furnished by Mrs. Ray Colwell and Mrs. John Hodgkins, with Miss Lillian Ashdown at the piano. The bearers were George Stedman, John Stedman, Bert Stedman and Ray Welch. Burial took place at Highland Park.
