Ionia Daily Sentinel, 2 Nov 1957

Funeral services will be held at Portland Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Neller 
funeral home for Mrs. Lula Rice, 68, a resident of Portland, who died Monday 
evening at her home.

Mrs. Rice was a member of the Portland Rebekah lodge, the Woman’s Relief Corps 
and Dorcas society, the past noble grands and third district of WRC.

She is survived by her husband Floyd, two sons, Leslie Shell and Floyd Rice 
Jr.; and a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Frazier, all of Portland and five grandchildren 
and one great-grandchild.
