Ionia Daily Sentinel, 3 Apr 1906

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Charlotte Rich, widow of the late Hon. 
Hampton Rich, were held in Lakeview, Montcalm county, where she died at the 
home of her son-in-law, Charles L. Northrop.  The remains were brought to Ionia 
for interment in the family burying ground in Oak Hill cemetery.  They arrived 
today on the 11:20 train over the Pere Marquette road, accompanied by numerous 
relatives and friends of the family.

The pallbearers were:  C.L. Northrop, Frank Northrop, Charles Meach, E.A. Rich, 
and H.A. Rich.

A large number of friends of the deceased followed the cortege to the cemetery 
where the final services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Meyers, pastor of the 
Congregational church in Lakeview.

Among those who came here to attend the funeral were, E.A. Rich, Mrs. C. S. 
Lowe and Mrs. J. L. Hurd, of Chicago.
