Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph church in 
Belding for Leon R. Rich, 52.  Fr. Charles E. Steves will officiate and burial 
will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Rich of 9547 Button road, Smyrna, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at Belding 
Community hospital.
He was born at Belding, January 21, 1916 and lived his entire life in that 
area.  Employed at Gibson Refrigerator company, he was also a member of 
Fairview Farmers club, Smyrna Friendship club, World War II veteran and member 
of UAW-CIO.

May 17, 1947 he was married to Nora Geiger who survives, he also leaves two 
daughters, Mrs. Pam Mason of Smyrna and Patricia at home; one son Leon at home; 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rich of Belding; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Pearce of 
Belding; five brothers, L. D., Burley, Harvey, George and Robert all of 
Belding.  Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fitzjohn-Courser funeral 
home in Belding.
