The Belding Banner, February 1989


Alice V. Rich, 71, formerly of 11501 Berridge Road, Greenville, died Sunday, 
Feb. 19, 1989, at Belding Christian Nursing Home.  She was born Nov. 21, 1917, 
in Grattan Township, the daughter of James and Vera Crandall Donovan.

Her husband, Leslie, died in December 1980.  She also was preceded in death by 
a sister, Evelyn Blumberg, and a brother, Leonard Donovan.  Surviving are a 
sister, Mrs. Alvin (Lucille) Larsen, Rockford; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral-committal services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, 
the Rev. Dick Woodward officiating.  Interment is in Ashley Cemetery.  
Visitation at the funeral home is tonight from 7 to 8:30.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
