Front St., Belding, died Monday, May 4, 1992, at United Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was born Feb. 11, 1909 in Valley City, N.D., the daughter of Bert and Mabel Edmonds Tooley. Mrs. Rich retired in 1956 as chief operator for Michigan Bell Telephone after 30 years. She was a member of the Pioneer Club of Michigan Bell and American Legion Auxiliary 203. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Marr and Lawrence Rich, and a son, Gerald E. Marr. Surviving are a son and his wife, Richard L. and Sally Marr, Belding; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Marr, Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother and his wife, Bud and Maxine Tooley, Belding; a niece, Sue Tooley, Belding; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. No funeral services nor visitation will be held. Interment is in River Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to United Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, Belding Congregational Church, Alvah N. Belding Library or the Belding Museum.
