Headline:  Sudden Death Claims Former Local Girl

Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist church Tuesday afternoon for 
Mrs. Warren Rich, nee Blanche Little, daughter of Mrs. Lucy Little, who died 
suddenly in Detroit Friday afternoon.  The deceased expired in a physicians 
office where she had gone for consultation.  Death was reported as being the 
result of cerebral hemorrhage.  The body was brought here Monday and reposed at 
the Fitzjohn funeral home until the funeral.

Blanche Little Rich, 23, was born in this city.  She received her education in 
the Belding schools and graduated in the class of 1930.  Her father, the late 
Ernest Little, died when she was a young girl.  Two brothers have also preceded 
her in death.  Surviving besides her husband and infant daughter are her 
mother, Mrs. Lucy Little of Big Rapids; a sister, Miss Velma Little, also of 
Big Rapids; two brothers, Robert of Smyrna and Kenneth of Detroit.  Rev. J. A. 
Hudnutt, pastor of the Free Methodist church, officiated and the remains were 
placed in the mausoleum until spring when interment will be made in the family 
lot in River Ridge cemetery.
