C. Parsons officiated at the 2 o’clock funeral rites which were held Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Greenville for Clarence Rich of that city, who died Thursday night at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids following a heart ailment of several months. He was born in Montcalm county and lived in this city before going to Greenville 15 years ago. He was married to Alberta Sluyter, a teacher in the local schools, in 1936 and she survives. He was employed at Gibson Refrigerator in Greenville until his illness. Surviving besides his wife are five sisters, Mrs. Berdella Jensen of Greenville, Mrs. Martin Snyder, Mrs. Enos Antcliff and Mrs. Florence Armstrong of this city, and Mrs. Winifred Monsehein of Grand Rapids, and three brothers, Laurence and Nelson of this city and Roy of Denver, Colo.
