The Belding Banner, Thursday, 20 April 1961


Mrs. Cordelia Rich, age 92, passed away April 16 at the home of her daughter 
Mrs. Alta Graham, 1050 Alderman St.  She was born in Orleans Township near Long 
Lake, October 30, 1868, and had lived in Ionia and Belding all of her life.

She was married to Jason Rich in 1885 and he passed away in 1937.  Surviving 
are one daughter, Mrs. Alta Graham, one son Elmer, 14 grandchildren, 30 great 
grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be this Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Huffman 
Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating and burial will be in Orleans 
cemetery.
