The Belding Banner, February 1985


Esther V. Rich, 81, of 821 Morton Ave., Belding, died Wednesday at her home.  
Born Nov. 27, 1903, in Tustin, she was a member of Oakwood Christian Reformed 
Church.

Her husband, Nelson, died in 1966.  She was also preceded in death by her son, 
Spender, in 1976.  Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Gloria Rich, Grand 
Rapids; two granddaughters, Mrs. Mark (Georgia) Gillette and Laura Rich, both 
of Charlotte, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Avey, Carson City, Mrs. Pauline 
Tutle, Tustin, and Mrs. Ellen Mumby, Belding.

Funeral services are Sunday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home in Belding, The 
Rev. Wilford Wood officiating.  Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.  
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
