Hazel A. Rich, 77, of Belding, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at her 
home.  The daughter of George and Fern Bliss Yeomans, she was born Dec. 28, 
1921, in Greenville.

Hazel was a graduate of Greenville High School with the class of 1941.  She was 
employed for 20 years at Jolly Kids and later at the Chrysler Trim Plant in 
Lyons.

On July 12, 1941, in Ionia, she married Burley Rich.  He survives along with 
their children, Vicki Chlebek and Monty Rich, both of Belding; her 
grandchildren, Mary and Rick Thacker, Mike and Cherri Chlebek, Mark Chlebek and 
Pam, Evie Sharkey and Terri Richardson; nine great-grandchildren and one great-
great-granddaughter; one sister, Nellie Wollpert of Charlotte; and one sister-
in-law, Dorothy Yeomans of Greenville.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents; one sister, Minnie; three brothers, Barney, Earl and Aubrey “Deany.”

Funeral and committal services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, 
Belding, with Pastor Kenneth Martin officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven 
Memory Gardens.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral 
home today from 6 to 8:30 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart 
Association.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
