The Belding Banner, Friday, 27 January 1978


Leon B. Rich, 90, 732 Moulton St., Belding, died Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Rich was born Sept. 12, 1887 in Montcalm County.  Surviving are his wife, 
Lila; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Pearce, Belding; four sons, Burley, Harvey, 
George and Robert, all of Belding; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 
two great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sons, L.D. and 
Leon Ralph.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, 
Pastor David Garty officiating.  Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery.
