The Belding Banner, December 1980


Leslie E. Rich, 62, 11501 Berridge Rd., died Saturday at his home.  Mr. Rich 
was born March 5, 1918, at Belding.  He was a veteran of World War II and a 
member of the VFW.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; six sisters, Mrs. Ivah Loomans, Mrs. Eva 
Edwards, both of Belding, Mrs. Anna Rhodes, Midland, Mrs. Leah Palethorpe, Mrs. 
Aletha Ward, both of Greenville, Mrs. Delores Palethorpe, Belding.

Funeral and committal services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, 
Belding, the Rev. James Crawford officiating.  Interment will be in Ashley 
Cemetery.  Visitation is tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
