The Belding Banner, Thursday, 18 June 1981


Marion C. Rich, 88, 804 Jay St., Belding, died Wednesday in Clare.  He was born 
March 26, 1893, in Fairplains Township.

Mr. Rich was preceded in death by his wife, Adora, in 1971.  Surviving are two 
daughters, Mrs. Grey (Lillian) Hunt, and Mrs. Walter (Lucille) Richter, both of 
Lansing; two sons, Junior Wright, Sidney, and Edward Dare Sr., Belding; one 
brother, Philo Rich, Grand Rapids, and 29 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home in 
Belding.  The Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.  Interment will be in Green 
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home 
tonight from 7 to 8:30 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
