Belding – Jane E. Rich, 75, Orleans, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her
home.  She was born July 30, 1924, in Ionia, the daughter of Homer and Elizabeth
Fox Edwards.  She was a member of the Shiloh Community Church and a life member
of Sheridan VFW Post Auxiliary 5065.  Jane was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was married on Jan. 8, 1944, in Ionia, to Harold E. Rich.  He survives along
with three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold E. Jr. and Darlene Rich of Orleans,
Jerry and Judy Rich of Lyons, Steve and Karen Rich of Belding; eight
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law,
Ann Speckin of Belding, Margaret and Walter Moore of Greenville; one brother,
Clarence Edwards of Belding; and two sisters-in-law, Beulah Blumberg and Doralee
McGee.  She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Homer Jr.,
Raymond “Cookie”, Jerry, Larry; and two sisters, Mary and Doris.  

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation.  Funeral services will
be 11 a.m. Friday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.
 Interment will be in Orleans Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to
Shiloh Community Church or the Ionia Area Hospice.  Arrangements are being
handled by the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
