The Clinton Republication, September 19, 1901
Pewamo – Mrs. E. B. Rich, age 30, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. D. Keister, Saturday, September 14, after a lingering illness of about 
six months.  The funeral was held at the M. E. Church Monday, September 16, at 
one o’clock, Revs. Jewell and Swindt officiating.  The floral display was very 
beautiful, showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held by all who 
knew her.  Several friends and relatives from abroad attended the funeral.  
She leaves one daughter, aged 3 years, a husband, mother, father, 3 brothers, 
3 sisters, besides many friends.  Interment in cemetery one mile west of town.

Additional Comments:
There was a handwritten notation indicating the name of “Mrs. Edward Belden 
Rich.”

The Clinton Republication was published in St. Johns, Michigan.
