The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, October 14, 1931
Funeral services for Belden R. Rich, who died in Tuscola county Saturday 
morning, were conducted form the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter 
Rich, West Main street, Tuesday afternoon by Rev. M. W. Duffey.  Those from 
out of town attending were Mr. and Mrs. Horace Holmes, Mrs. J. H. Gillett, Mr. 
and Mrs. Glenn Steele of St. Johns; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rich, Mr. and Mrs. 
Bert Rowley, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Sturgeon, Mrs. Warren Rich, Mrs. Frank Converse 
and daughter Ruth, Mrs. Ben Boss, Mrs. Byron Rich, Ernest Anderson, Mrs. Lalia 
Taylor of Belding; Mrs. George Pratt and son Clare of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. 
Harvey Huston, Mrs. Mary Esyltine, of Lansing; R. C. Seeley and Otis Seeley of 
Belding.

Mrs. J. O. Post and Mrs. Eula Lee were in charge of the flowers, and the 
bearers were Charles Rich, Bert Rowley, Neil Sturgeon, Glenn Steele, Clare 
Pratt, and Ernest Anderson.  Burial was in the Smyrna cemetery.
