The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Friday, March 28, 1947
Roy V. Rich, 48, died at his home in Easton township Friday, March 28, at 2:00 
a.m. following a short illness.  He was born April 1, 1898 in Montcalm 
county.  For the past 11 years he had been employed by the Ionia Desk 
company.  He was also an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Ionia 
lodge 998.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; one stepson, Howard Ward of Palo; his 
mother, Mrs. Della Rich, West Main street; one sister, Mrs. James Graham of 
Belding; two brothers, Arnold and Elmer, both of Hastings.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home Monday, March 31, at 
2 p.m.  Interment will be in the Highland Park cemetery.
