Lake Odessa Wave - July 3, 1980
            MARGARET RICHARD
   LAKE ODESSA - Margaret Richard, 85, of 814 Third Avenue, Lake Odessa, died June
27 at Pennock Hospital 
in Hastings where she had been a patient for a week.
   Prior to entering the hospital, she had been a patient at the Provincial House in
Hastings.
   Mrs. Richard was born on Sept. 8, 1894 in Bell River, Canada, the daughter of
Patrick and Margaret 
(O'Brien) Dean.
   She attended Bell river schools and moved to Detroit in 1912.
   She was married to Harry Richard in Detroit in 1920.  He died on May 29, 1960. 
They lived in Detroit until 
1950 when they moved to Lake Odessa.
   Mrs. Richard was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Lake Odessa.
   Survivors include two sisters, Anna Kainhuber of Mount Clemens and Edna Howell of
Dearborn.
   Mass was conducted on June 30 at St. Edward Church.  Rosaries were held on June
29 at the Pickens-
Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
   Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
