Ionia Daily Sentinel, 26 Jul 1906

Aurilla Dexter – Born April 1, 1828; Died July 20, 1906.  Born in Herkimer 
county, N.Y., and moved with her parents to Michigan in the year 1830, where 
she resided with her parents in Washtenaw county until six years later when the 
moved to Ionia county and lived there until 1846 when she was united in 
marriage to Darius Aldrich and moved to Grattan township, Kent county, he dying 
ten years later leaving five children.  Two are living: Frank, of Lake Odessa; 
Manley of Ionia.  Three years later she was married to Dugal Foster, two 
children being born to this union – Stephen D. of Grand Rapids, and Harvey, of 
South Dakota.  Later she was married to August Richardson, living with him 
until his death and since that time has been living with her sons Manley and 
Frank Aldrich, living with the latter until her death.  She is survived by one 
sister and one brother- Mrs. Harriet Dunham, of Ionia, and Charles Dexter of 
the same place.
