Lyons – Mr. Charles O. Richardson II, age 56, born September 8, 1954 in 
Detroit, MI peacefully passed away at home in his sleep March 5, 2011, after 
his battle with cancer.

Charles worked at several companies through the years including Challenge MFG, 
Lacks Industry, McDonalds Industrial Products, ALOFS, ITM, GEN CORP, Industrial 
Welding and Chrysler. He was a graduate of Portland High School (1973). He 
earned a Certificate Machine Repair from Lansing Community College (1980).

Survivors include his son Charles O. Richardson III and his daughter Patricia 
(Paul) Ellsworth both of Lyons; grandchildren Sara Gillman, Gary Kuecken, and 
Charlie Richardson IV; sisters Janet (Curtis) Bowers of Clinton Township, MI, 
and Beverly (Philip) Klassen of Saint Joseph, MI; and many nieces and nephews. 
He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Lola Richardson and sister Gladys 
McClaughlin.

A memorial service will be held on May 14 at First Christian Church, 138 W. 
Garden, Muir MI with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. For those desiring, 
contributions made to Hospice of Lansing will be greatly appreciated by the
