Discharged in 1946

Married to Eva Matz on July 23, 1947

Retired from General Motors (Grand Rapids)

Survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren

Preceded in death by his parents; brother Walter "Lefty" Richardson and sister 
Bessie Lumbert

Burial in Clarksville Cemetery with military honors
