Hastings Reminder - Dec. 29, 2012

Glen W. Richardson, age 72, passed away December 20, 2012 with his family 
present.

Glen was born in Clarksville, October 15, 1940, the son of Walter and Frances 
Richardson. He grew up in the Clarksville area and attended Saranac High 
School.  He enlisted in the Navy in 1957.

He worked at GM in Lansing and various carpenter and construction jobs.

He played baseball and enjoyed fishing. He loved watching Tigers baseball and 
Red Wings hockey. He spent hi summers tending his garden, trying to grow the 
best produce he could. 

He is survived by a daughter, Heather Sherman of Lewisville, TX; Robert 
(Heather) Richardson of Fenwick, John (Lori) Richardson of Clarksville; stepson 
Bill Knibbs of Lowell; grandchildren, Terri Townsend of Texas, Owen Richardson 
of Fenwick, Gracie Richardson of Clarksville; step grandson, Andrew Knibb; step 
granddaughter, Macy of Fenwick; mother, Frances Richardson of Hastings; 
sisters, Beverly Hewitt of Clarksville, Joan (Dallas) Hunt of Caledonia, Carol 
(Bernie) Ferris of Lansing, Bonnie (Ron) Haskins of Lake Odessa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Richardson and infant daughter, 
Frances Marie Richardson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Clarksville Bible 
Church at 11 a.m. Visitation from 10 a.m. until service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pennock Hospice or the Richardson family 
for funeral expenses.
