Eva Richardson, age 84, of Clarksville passed away peacefully Wednesday, 
October 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on July 12, 
1929 in Detroit to Roy W. and Geneva P. (Williams) Matz. 

Eva was a 1947 graduate of Lake Odessa High school.  In July of 1947 she 
married Donald L. Richardson and they spent 63 wonderful years together until 
his passing in 2010.  Eva was very active in CIC club improving her community.  
Along with being the Memorial Day parade coordinator for many years she enjoyed 
making wedding cakes, ceramics, sewing and reading.  Visiting with friends and 
family always brought great joy into Eva's life. 

Eva is survived by her children; Mike (Mary) Richardson, Sue (Gaylord) Wolbers, 
grandchildren Ron (Joy) Wolbers, Chris (Brian) Atwell, Jeff (Kim) Richardson, 
Tom Richardson, Mike (Amy) Richardson, Scott (Amber) Richardson, great-
grandchildren Chelsea (Patrick) Adams, Shelby Wolbers, Kaleb Atwell, Kanon 
Atwell, Aidan Richardson, Callan Richardson, Alexis Richardson, Ella 
Richardson, Liam Richardson, brother Ron Matz, sister-in-law Frances 
Richardson.  Preceding her in death are her parents and husband Donald. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Koops Funeral chapel 935 
4th Ave Lake Odessa, MI 48849 from 5pm to 8pm.  Funeral services will be held 
on Saturday, October 26, 2013 11am at Koops Funeral Chapel.  Memorials may be 
given to Barry Community Hospice, Clarksville Fire Department or Campbell 
Township Park.
