KAREN SUE RICHARDS, 53
Karen Sue Richards, 53, of Saranac, passed away Jan. 27, 2018.

She was born March 20, 1964, in Carson City, the daughter of Wayne and Alice
(Middaugh) Shinabarger. Karen married Danny Richards on June 13, 1992. She enjoyed ceramics, 
crafts, crocheting and needlepoint, puzzles, painting, cooking and baking. She was a
collector of Native American art and snowmen. She was a member of Clarksville  Bible
Church.

Surviving are her parents Wayne and Alice Shinabarger of Carson City; husband, Danny
Richards of Saranac; son, Joshua (Ashley) Richards of Muskegon; daughter, Sabrina
Poling of Saranac; step-son, Kevin Richards of Lowell; grandchildren,, Audrianna, Summer
and Kodi; brothers, Jim (Rhonda) Wright of Lakeview, Ron (Rhonda) Wright of Clarksville,
Alan (Kim) Shinabarger of Greenville, Carl (Doris) Shinabarger of Lawton; sisters, Emma
(Paul) Ackley of Lakeview and Alice (Dave) McPherson of Belding.

Memorial service will be held at Clarksville Bible Church on Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. with
Pastor Bateman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service (10-11 a.m.) at
the church.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions in Karen's name to
Clarksville bible church. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Saranac.
