ARTHUR RICHARDSON DIED SATURDAY
Arthur A. Richardson, 73, of 64 Wadsworth St., Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly
at his residence late Saturday evening. He was a native of Reed City but had spent most
of his life in Grand Rapids. A retired railroad employee of the Pennsylvania Railway, he
served as brakeman and conductor for 30 years before retiring in 1948. He was a member of the
Moose Lodge and Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen of Grand Rapids.

His wife was the former Cora Snyder of this community who passed away about 14 years
ago.

Surviving are a sister Edith Swartout of Grand Rapids nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 at the Greenhoe-Van Zee funeral home Grand 
Rapids with burial in lakeside cemetery. Arrangements by the Pickens funeral chapel.
