Sentinel-Standard- Saturday, March 30, 1935

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at McBride for 
Robert Richards, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Richards of Miami, Fla. and 
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Richards of Ionia, who was instantly killed in 
a traffic accident in Akron, Ohio, Wednesday, while riding on his uncles milk 
wagon. Mr. and Mrs. William Richards had ben spending the winter in Florida and 
their grandson was returning to Ionia with them to spend the summer. Robert 
Richards is known to many in Ionia as he had spent several summers here before 
with is grandparents.

the body was brought here Saturday and will remain at the Myers funeral home 
until Monday when it will be taken to McBride for services. Interment will be at 
the family lot at Vinewood cemetery in Edmore.

The body was accompanied by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Richards. of Miami, 
and by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Richards. 

Clyde Richards, of Akron, Ohio is in a critical condition with injuries 
sustained in the same accident.
