Edwin A. Richardson
CLARKSVILLE-Edwin A. Richardson, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away 
unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday evening, January 30, 2008.

Ed was born in Clarksville on November 15, 1926 to Ellis and Mildred (Jepson) 
Richardson. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1945, and served in 
the U.S. Army from 1945-1946. Ed was married to Patsy Williams on May 28, 
1948.

He retired from General Motors in Grand Rapids in 1984 after working for 38 
years.

He loved all sports, had been a member of the Morrison Lake Country Club, was 
a long-time bowler, and an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Ed had also been a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 60 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Mildred Taylor, Nancy (James) Justice, and 
Barbara (Brent) Kronk; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother 
Francis (Doreen) Richardson; and sister, Faye Fahrni.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy; step-mother, Hulda 
Richardson; son-in-law, Bill McDiarmid; and brothers, Elmer, Ellis Lee, 
Wayne, and Vernon "Mike" Richardson.

Visitation will be held in the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Sunday 
February 3, from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM.

The Funeral service will be held at Clarksville Bible Church at 10:30 AM on 
Monday Feb. 4, 2008. Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the 
Campbell Township Park.
