Services Held for Mayford Richardson

Mayford Richardson, 69 years old, son of the late Wm. B. and Eva (Walter) 
Richardson, was born in Clarksville July 9, 1896, and died Sunday, December 5 in 
an accident on Grand River Ave. and Hastings Road at 5:50 p.m.

He as a veteran of World War I and a former member of the American Legion. He 
was a retired mail carrier and was sexton of the Clarksville cemetery at the 
time of his death.

He is survived by a sister, Edna E. Richardson at home and cousins.

Services were held in the Clarksville Bible Church, Wednesday at 2 p.m. 
Interment in the Clarksville cemetery. The Rev. Don  Mathis officiated. the body 
reposed at the Pickens Chapel in Clarksville until the time of services.
