                              Virginia Richardson

IONIA- Virginia Marie Richardson age 85 passed away November 28, 2021. She was 
born April 10, 1936 in Sheridan the daughter of Alfred J and Isabelle F.
(Spencer) Dolan. She went on to marry John D.Richardson Jr. June 18, 1955, he 
preceded her in death in 2000.

She loved playing Tennis and Golf and enjoyed Fast pitch softball as a pitcher 
and later as a coach. 

Surviving Virginia are her children; John (Lynn) Richardson, Jeff (Kathy) 
Richardson and Judi (Randy) Sharkey. Seven grandchildren and ten great-
grandchildren. Brother Alfred "Bud" (Sue) Dolan. Sisters Kathleen Hamlin and 
Sally Fox. She was receded in death by her parents and husband John.

Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be at the Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia Saturday, June 18th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing may made memorial 
contributions to the American Heart Association.Online condolences may be made
