RICHMOND
David Ira Richmond age 66 of Ionia, MI passed away June 12, 2017. He was born 
on January 31, 1951 in Bay City, MI the son of Earl and Lucille (Slates) 
Richmond. David married Mary Korthals on November 12, 1989 in Bay County. He 
served two tours during Vietnam was a United States Marine Staff Sergeant. 
David was a life member of the Ionia VFW. He was a loving father and husband.

David is survived by his wife Mary Richmond of Ionia, Children Zetria Mae 
Richmond of California, David Allan Taylor of Lake View, Steven Wayne 
Korthals of Ionia, Brothers Paul Richmond and Doug Orourke, Sister Rosemond 
Richmond, Mother-in-law Betty Jane Taylor of Bay City, Sister-in-law Deb 
Richmond and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents 
and brother Ray Richmond.

A memorial service for David will be held on July 9th at 11:00 a.m at North 
Plains church with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Interment North Plains 
Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to David's family.
