Gottfred August Richter, aged 77, a former Ionia resident died this morning after 
a brief illness at the home of his son, Rev. Earl Richter, at Buffalo, N.Y. Mr. 
Richter was a resident here for several years and his wife was killed in the 
Salem wreck. The funeral will be held at 1:30 Wednesday from the home of John 
Speckin and from the Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Highland 
Park cemetery.
