RICHTER

Evan Mitchell Richter age 19 passed away unexpectedly March 10, 2022. He was 
born November 19, 2002 the son of Robert M.Richter and Karen S.(Seiler) Powell.

Evan graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 2021. He will be best 
remembered for his love of outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping in numerous 
settings. Evan enjoyed numerous trips, outings and special moments with family 
and friends that included his love of outdoors. He was his brother Russell's 
best friend and his parent's greatest treasure.

Evan was currently enrolled in the fisheries wildlife Management program at Lake 
Superior State pursing his Bachelor's degree.

Surviving Evan are his father Robert Richter and Sue Porter of Saranac, Mother 
Karen (Tom) Powell of Grand Rapids, twin brother Russell Richter of Grand 
Rapids.grandparents; Dwight and June Seiler of Saranac and Doris Richter of 
Texas, Aunts and Uncles; Ken (Karen) Seiler of Saranac, Kathleen (Jeff) Nickel 
of Indiana and Michael (Leah) Richter of Texas. Several cousins. Special doges, 
Max, Finley and Bella.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Horst Richter.

Funeral Services for Evan were at the Saranac Community Church, Tuesday, March 
15, 2022 at11:00 with Pastor Becky Poor officiating. Visitation was held at the 
Lake Funeral Home in Saranac Monday 4- 7. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to Ducks Unlimited Michigan Chapter, www.ducks.org. Online
