She was born May 17, 1918 in Keene Twp., the daughter of James and Eva (Carr) Tefft. Emma married Guy William Rickert Dec. 18, 1937. He passed away in 1958. Emma was a member American Legion Ladies Aux. She loved to pop in for half a cup of coffee at her sisters, play bingo, go to yard sales and dance, especially the polka. Emma is survived by her sons, William (Rose Ann) Rickert of Harrietta, and Carl (Marcia) Rickert of Saranac; daughter, JoAnn (Ronald) Reagan of Saranac; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Roxey and Iva Jean Rickert; five brothers and four sisters; a long time special friend, Clayton Lowrey. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 at Easton Church with pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Interment Pinckney Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
