Ionia CountyNews - Thurs. Jan. 27, 1944

Ray Rickert, 59, well-known  here, passed away January 1 at Lowell, where he 
had recently moved. He leaves his wife, Daisy, one son, David and a daughter, 
Doris Leach and seven grandchildren of Lowell: his mother, Mrs. Mary Rickert of 
Keene; three sisters, Mrs. Leva Brown, Mrs. Theron Cahoon of Saranac and Mrs. 
James Dennis of Lansing; one brother, Guy Rickert of Lansing and a foster son, 
Russell Wheaton, at home. Funeral services were held in Roth's Chapel in 
Lowell, and burial was in Pinckney Cemetery.
