Crystal E. (Wilson) Ricks, 77, of Belding, passed away at Metron of Belding Nursing
Home on Friday morning, Jan. 2, 2015.  She was born on July 8, 1937, in Ionia, the
daughter of George W. and Erma (Dukes) Wilson.  Both parents preceded her in death. 


She married Gerald Ricks.  He preceded her in death in 1985.  She worked for
Electrolux for 35 years, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

The memory of Crystal will be cherished by her children, Beverly Ricks, Maxine
Nieto, William Ricks, Jerry Ricks Jr., and Judy Franks and her eight grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by many other dear family members
and friends.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert, who passed
away in 1956; a brother, Robert Wilson, and a sister, Dorothy Wilson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and funeral services will be 7 p.m. at
Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 303 S. Bridge St., Belding,
officiated by Rev. Mike Simmons.  Private interment will take place at Rest Haven
Memory Gardens, near Belding.
