Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

ROSELYN JUNE RIDDLE

Died Wednesday, January 21, 2026-age 81.
Rose was born in Belding on June 11,1944, daughter of Bert & Julia McPherson, 
the youngest of six children. 
Married to Harry Riddle on November 29, 1963 & have two daughters, Lori & 
Sheri.Rose liked to crochet & craft, & enjoyed spending time in the garden & 
line dancing.
She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Greenville for 
many years.
She was employed with McPherson TV through High School.
Rose as a full-time wife & Mother, she worked many part-time jobs throughout her 
life.
Survived by her husband, Harry of 62 years, daughters, Lori (Dan)Rasmussen & 
Sheri (Pat) Sweet, grandchildren, Jacob (Chelsey)Rasmussen, Tyler Rasmussen 
(Maria Gorski), Lucas Sweet (Andrea Bushre), Charlie Sweet (Hannah Rivet); great 
grandson,Winston Rasmussen; brother, Gerald (Floria) McPherson; sister, 
Geraldine Peterson & sister-in-law, Gail McPherson.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Leah (Merle) Weaver; Maynard 
McPherson, & her brothers, Vern (Herta) McPherson.
Memorial services will be held at the First Congregational Church of Greenville 
on Friday,January 30, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
One Hour Visitation prior to the service, plus an evening of visitation will be 
held at Hurst Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2029 from 4-6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Congregational Church of 
Greenville, Women's Fellowship, to be used for Women in Crisis Ministry.
